Save money and energy by drying your laundry in the sun! This laundry drying rack can be opened into either a peaked top or a flat top (ideal for sweaters or jackets), and then folds up for slim storage. You can even fold it up to carry it back in the house or to the next sunny spot outside while it's loaded up with laundry. Perfect for smaller spaces where there isn't room for a clothesline or off-grid living where an electric clothes dryer isn't a good option.
These wooden clothes drying racks are handmade by a fifth-generation, family-owned business dating back to 1881 using 100% sustainably harvested Maine ¾" kiln-dried Eastern White Pine. The Eastern European birch dowels are machined smooth to prevent snags. Features 56 feet of drying space, suitable for average sized washer loads.

I have owned one of these racks for MANY years. It is high quality, easily moved, & can be used when partly open. Most racks are only usable fully open. Comparing it to other racks, I give it 5 stars!
This is the second one of these I've owned. The first lasted me 15 years before the joints became loose enough to require replacement. It is large enough and study enough for me to dry bulkier items like a wet comforter (partially folded).
This is our second wooden dryer rack that we have bought from Real Goods - the last one lasted us for well over 10 years. We hardly ever use our dryer, and so our wooden rack (for a family of 4) is used almost every day. It is amazing quality, and well worth the cost - it has saved us hundreds of dollars in electricity over the years.
May seem expensive, but worth the money. I always use this rack - last one lasted about 10 years. That's only $10/yr ;-).
