SmartSolar charge controllers' innovative BatteryLife function prevents damage caused by running batteries 'flat' (repeatedly failing to reach a fully charged state in between discharges). You can set the voltage at which the controller disconnects a load, but the best part about the BatteryLife feature is that the controller will attempt a 100% recharge every day. If it can't reach that full recharge (like during periods of poor weather), it raises the disconnect voltage each day until it achieves success.
You can remotely control and monitor the SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 controller by pairing its built-in bluetooth adapter (no dongle required!) with your Apple or Android phone or tablet using the VictronConnect app. Connect your installation to the internet and you'll be able to use the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) with even more features. Both the VictronConnect app and the VRM services are free to use.
