The Quattro is an inverter/charger combo with pure sine wave 120V output for AC loads and 100 amps of battery charging capability. It accepts up to two AC inputs - for example the electrical grid and a generator (or two generators) - making it a great choice when building an AC-coupled system. An integrated transfer switch automatically connects to the active power source.
The main AC output has no-break functionality. In the event of a power interruption, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds - fast enough that computers and other electronic equipment won't be disrupted. The second AC output is live only when AC is available on one of the AC inputs - useful for loads that you want to prevent from draining your batteries. Air conditioning and water heaters are commonly used with this output.
One of the Quattro's best features is PowerAssist, which helps prevent overloading a limited AC source. When peak power is required for limited periods (i.e. startup surges), the Quattro immediately enlists assistance from the battery when the primary power source is insufficient.
Up to 6 Quattro inverter/chargers can be installed in parallel.
