Durable rubber mats handmade in Northern California from repurposed racecar tires.

Tuff Mats Recycled Tire Mats

Handmade in Northern California from old racecar tires, Tuff Mats Recycled Tire Mats are a durable repurpose of rubber that would otherwise end up in the waste stream. Because racecar tires lack steel belting, Tuff Mats is able to use all but 3 - 5% of their tires for these mats. Owners of Tuff Mats Recycled Tire Mats love them for mud rooms, RVs, patios, and especially boats because the mats don't slip or move. They're also dog-proof if yours is a chewer!

Available in three sizes: 18" x 24" (R23215), 20" x 30" (R23216), and 24" x 36" (R23217).

Tuff Mats Recycled Tire Mats' Dimensions

Individual mats' weights vary depending on what kind of tires were used to make them.

  • The 20" x 30" mats weigh 11 - 15 lbs

    • As Tuff as Advertised5/17/2018

I bought three Tuff Mats from Real Goods in 1996 and there is absolutely no wear on them. All I have to do is hose them off and the beads and the tire strips are like new again. I'm sure they will last another 20 years!

I recently bought two Tuff Mats for my front and back door. Not only are they tough, but just stylish enough with their primary color "joints" to be a cheerful welcome. My grandson thinks they're especially cool because they were once tires on a race car. Real Goods understands recycled products that make for a real, sustainable purchase. Thank you.
