Sol-Ark's 12K solar + storage solution simultaneously manages power to and from the PV array, the battery bank, the grid, a backup generator, and your loads. Note that the "12K" in the name refers to the inverter's combined output - split between DC (battery charging) and AC (house loads/grid). The max AC power it delivers continuously is 9.6kW - so, when maxed out on the AC side, there is 2.4kW of power (if available from the PV) to simultaneously charge batteries. If AC requirements are lower, it can charge batteries with up to 8kW.
Being pre-wired with so many system components already integrated, Sol-Ark's 12K hybrid inverter makes a great choice (and an easy installation) for off-grid, grid-tie, or battery backup solar installations. Unlike the Sol-Ark 8K Hybrid Inverter, up to six of the 12K systems can be stacked in parallel, supporting up to 16.5kW of solar PV.
