The AmpliPHI combines safe, cobalt-free (LiFePO4) lithium-ion cells with a true closed-loop communications BMS to create an extremely easy-to-install, expandable, and intelligent 48V deep cycle solar battery.
What sets the AmpliPHI apart from the competition and from SimpliPhi's line of PHI batteries is true closed-loop communications - a two-way feedback loop between the integrated battery management system and the inverter - which allows the system to self-correct. This ability to receive, interpret, and adjust for new information from within the system means that the kW rating of an AmpliPHI battery bank does not need to exactly match the kW rating of the inverter(s).
AmpliPHIs are significantly easier to install and set up than other comms-based batteries. They automatically program most set points and do not need to be turned on in a specific sequence when installed in a bank.
A modular, lightweight, and scalable design allows the AmpliPHI to be used in installations ranging in size from a single battery to 75 batteries for a huge 285kWh battery bank.
