This high-efficiency 330-Watt solar panel is part of Panasonic's HIT line, packing 96 cells into the same footprint as a standard 60-cell module. The cells themselves use Panasonic's Silicone Heterojunction (SHJ) technology, which surrounds a monocrystalline wafer with thin layers of amorphous silicon and allows light capture from the underside of the cell in addition to the top.
Where Panasonic HIT solar panels' performance shines brightest, though, is in their industry-leading temperature coefficient of -0.258%. This outstrips all the competition, making these panels much better performers in high ambient temperatures.
Note that the high open circuit voltage on this module allows it to pair very well with SolarEdge inverters using P400 optimizers (available separately on the "Accessories" tab), which can reduce the voltage at the module level to allow for longer strings.
