KiloVault RES-Q Emergency Solar Power Kit 1500
The RES-Q™ Emergency Solar Power Kit is a plug-and-play emergency solar power bank designed to provide emergency backup power to even large household loads (like your refrigerator!) in addition to other - smaller - critical appliances and devices like lights, fans, and phone chargers. Choose between the following versions:
- Portable version: Utilizes free-standing racking for the solar panels that allows them to be placed on the ground and moved/rotated to follow the sun
- Rooftop version: Utilizes feet that mount the solar panels onto flat concrete roofs
The kit is based on KiloVault's RES-Q Emergency Portable Power Unit: an all-in-one power station featuring:
- An integrated 1500W pure sine wave inverter
- An integrated 1200Wh KiloVault lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery
- An integrated 25A solar charge controller
- A built-in AC charger
- An LCD status display
- 2x 120V AC outlets
- 4X USB outlets
- 1x 12V DC (cigarette lighter) adapter
- A battery expansion port for flooded lead acid or AGM batteries only*
- 2-year warranty
Additional Features with the RES-Q Emergency Solar Power Kit
Our kit adds the following to RES-Q Emergency Portable Power Unit:
- 300W of PV for recharging (2x 150W solar panels)
- Solar panel connectors and cables
- Solar panel mounts (for the Portable version, these are portable mounts that can be placed freely on the ground; for the Rooftop version, these are flat feet that can be mounted to flat concrete roofs)
* For power outages expected to last 7+ hours, it's recommended to add at last 400Ah of additional FLA/AGM 12V deep-cycle battery storage here, especially if you will be running a refrigerator.
** We highly recommend protecting your RES-Q unit with a surge protector rated to protect computer hardware. During storms and other emergency situations, there can be surges in grid power that could damage the RES-Q. Damage caused by power surges are not covered in the warranty.
