* For power outages expected to last 7+ hours, it's recommended to add at last 400Ah of additional FLA/AGM 12V deep-cycle battery storage here, especially if you will be running a refrigerator.
** We highly recommend protecting your RES-Q unit with a surge protector rated to protect computer hardware. During storms and other emergency situations, there can be surges in grid power that could damage the RES-Q. Damage caused by power surges are not covered in the warranty.
