The Top Cap quickly and easily mounts to the top of installer-supplied 2" or 3" schedule 40 pipe or mechanical tubing that's installed vertically as a pier in the IronRidge Ground Mount System. Once secured to the top of the pier with the included set screws, the Top Cap can then secure a cross pipe to the pier with the included U-bolt hardware. Choose 2" Top Cap if using 2" piers and cross pipes, or 3" Top Cap if working with 3" piers and cross pipes.
Made from heavy duty cast aluminum. Mill finish.
Note that the piers and cross pipes used for the IronRidge Ground Mount System are not available from Real Goods and must be locally sourced by the system installer. 2" or 3" galvanized schedule 40 pipe (ASTM A53 Grade B) or mechanical tubing (i.e. Allied Flo-Coat, Gatorshield, Gatorshield-Plus) should be used.
