The Bonded Rail Connector attaches and bonds a horizontal cross pipe to an IronRidge XR1000 Solar PV Mounting Rail. Each XR1000 Rail must be secured with two Bonded Rail Connectors - one attaching the XR1000 rail to each horizontal cross pipe. Choose 2" Bonded Rail Connector if using 2" piers and cross pipes, or 3" Bonded Rail Connector if working with 3" piers and cross pipes.
Made from extruded 6000 series aluminum. Mill finish. All necessary hardware included.
Note that the piers and cross pipes used for the IronRidge Ground Mount System are not available from Real Goods and must be locally sourced by the system installer. 2" or 3" galvanized schedule 40 pipe (ASTM A53 Grade B) or mechanical tubing (i.e. Allied Flo-Coat, Gatorshield, Gatorshield-Plus) should be used.
