Just like IronRidge's FlashFoot2, the newer FlashVue is an all-in-one roof flashing used when flush-mounting IronRidge XR Solar PV Mounting Rails to composite shingle roofs. It features FlashFoot2's same combination of structural and waterproofing features in a single assembly for easy and reliable installation.
Where the FlashVue differs from the FlashFoot2 most prominently is in its physical footprint. While its length is the same as the FlashFoot2 at a code-compliant 12", its width is 8" - a full inch narrower than the FlashFoot2 to reduce interference with roofing nails.
