The CU 200 is an interface box that maintains two-way communication with a Grundfos SQFlex pump and monitors the operating conditions. It combines status monitoring, control, and communication for an SQFlex pumping system into one user-friendly unit. It also provides terminals for connecting a float switch for use in your well, reservoir, or water tank. It is possible to start, stop and reset the pump with the on/off button.
Built-in diagnostics indicate faults and dry-running, operating status, power consumption, and level switch (float switch) input. Communication between the CU 200 Control Box and the SQFlex pump takes place via the pump's power supply cable. This is called mains borne signalling (or Power Line Communication), and this method means that no extra cables between the CU 200 and the pump are required. However, the CU 200 will not work when powered by a modified sine wave inverter; for best results, run it off a pure sine wave inverter or utility power (for AC) or series PV arrays (for DC).
