This portable, plug-and-play power station from Goal Zero is a noise-free, fume-free and rechargeable alternative to using a gas generator for emergency power. At its heart is a Yeti 1400 Lithium, a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that's safe for indoor use and rugged enough to use outdoors and off the grid. Featuring a built-in pure sine wave AC inverter, PWM charge controller and multi-stage surge protection, the Yeti allows compatibility with AC, 12VDC, and USB devices ranging from phones and lights to laptops, refrigerators and power tools. And with Goal Zero's recent addition of wifi connectivity to the Yeti 1400 Lithium, you can now control its ports, monitor its power usage, and update its firmware right from your Apple or Android phone using the Goal Zero Yeti App.
Charge up your Yeti 1400 Lithium battery using either the included AC wall adapter or the included Goal Zero Boulder 100, a rigid and durable 100-Watt solar panel built with strong tempered glass and an aluminum frame with an integrated kickstand. Fully charging the Yeti takes about 25 hours from the wall charger, and 28-56 hours from the solar panel. Do not charge the Yeti from a 12V source.
The Yeti's internal lithium-ion battery pack is replaceable and easily swapped out for a new one at the end of its life (approximately 500 cycles). This kit is a great long-term solution for off-grid power in any situation - whether for a weekend of camping or emergency backup power at home during a grid outage. Charge your Yeti every 3-6 months to keep it full so it's ready to power your needs - whatever the occasion.
