The 9th annual altE Solar Installer Conference is just over a month away, and this year's conference will feature a full day of training for both solar professionals and DIY-ers the day before the two-day conference.
The main conference event - which is designed for experienced solar installers - is February 25 and 26 (tickets available here).
But on Monday, February 24, two full-day classes are being hosted.
The Beginner Installer Class is intended for handy homeowners and first-time solar installers, and covers principles and components of off-grid, grid-tied, and hybrid solar power systems - as well as calculating system size, code compliance, and more.
The NEC Code 2020 Class is continuing education for solar professionals, and features 2017/2020 NEC insight and interpretation from Sean White - the 2014 IREC Trainer of the Year and ISPQ Certified Solar PV Master Trainer - and counts for 6 hours NABCEP training. Tickets for both classes are available here.
