As they have the previous eight years, solar installers and vendors from around the world gathered for altE's 9th annual Solar Conference February 24-26 for three days of networking, learning new solar technologies, and earning valuable NABCEP continuing education credits.
Over 20 industry-leading solar equipment manufacturers filled the Exhibit and Trade Show area. One of the most talked-about parts of this year's conference, though, was a "keynote address" by a Program Manager from National Grid Utility who explained the ConnectedSolutions demand response program - part of the Mass Save initiative - whose Daily Dispatch Battery program has been considered controversial for limiting its approved battery partners to just five companies.
