The heart of this system is a pre-wired Magnum MS4448PAE Inverter/Charger. It's a convenient combination of an inverter and power factor corrected multi-stage 48V battery bank charger all in one. It's rated at 4.4kW and produces 120/240VAC output. Working in tandem with (and installed and pre-wired with) the MS4448PAE is Magnum's PT-100 MPPT Charge Controller - essential for both keeping your batteries from being overcharged and for optimizing your solar panels' performance.
