The heart of this system is a pre-wired Schneider Conext SW 4048 Inverter/Charger. It's a convenient combination of an inverter, multi-stage 48V battery bank charger, and transfer switch all in one. It's rated at 4kW and produces 120/240VAC output. Working in tandem with (and installed and pre-wired with) the Conext SW 4048 is a MidNite Solar Classic 150 MPPT Charge Controller - essential for both keeping your batteries from being overcharged and for optimizing your solar panels' performance.
