A fertilizer blended specially for acid soil loving plants like blueberries, rhododendrons,azaleas, hydrangeas, evergreen trees and shrubs, raspberries and other plants that thrive in a low PH soil. To encourage lush flowers and fruit, apply Acid Mix in early spring for vegetative growth and again when blooms appear. Fall applications can help promote root growth and boost resistance to extreme winter temperatures.
Berries: 5-6 lbs per 100 linear feet in early spring. Repeat application when blooms appear and again in fall at half the recommended amount.
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: Apply 5-6 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3" of garden soil. For transplants, add 1-2 tablespoons per hole, mix thoroughly into soil and water in well.
Containers & Houseplants: For new planting, mix 1-1/2 cup per cubic foot of soil and mix thoroughly. For established plants, side dress 1-2 teaspoons per gallon of soil.

What is "N-P or K"?:

Phosphorus (P) - Phosphorus will promote big, bright bloom and enhanced fruit production. Phosphorus is essential for fruiting, flowering, strong root growth and quality seed development.
Potassium (K) - Potassium, or potash, helps produce strong sturdy plants and quality fruit. Potassium naturally increases a plants resistance to all types of stress and is vital for cell growth and carbohydrate metabolism.
